PDFocused is an online platform for working with PDFs and other documents right in your browser. You can edit, fill out, sign, merge, split, compress, convert, translate, OCR, and summarize files - with no software to install.

No. PDFocused runs entirely in your web browser. There is nothing to download or install - just open the site, upload your file, and start working. All you need is an internet connection.

Because PDFocused is fully online, it works on any device with a modern web browser, including Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, and Android. It supports Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge.

PDFocused works with PDFs and many common document and image formats, including DOCX, XLSX, PPTX, RTF, EPUB, JPG, PNG, WEBP, and HEIC. You can convert these to and from PDF, so you can manage all your documents in one place.

Yes. PDFocused includes a PDF translation tool - upload your document, choose the language you want, and download the translated version.

In the U.S., laws such as the ESIGN Act and the Uniform Electronic Transactions Act make electronic signatures legally binding. In the EU, the eIDAS regulation gives them the same standing as handwritten signatures. If you are outside the U.S. or EU, it is a good idea to check your local e-signature laws, as recognition can vary.

PDFocused supports electronic signatures: you can draw, type, or upload a signature and place it anywhere on your PDF. An electronic signature shows agreement on a document, while a digital signature relies on encryption certificates for extra security and is a separate technology.

Sign in, then go to your dashboard and open Account → Settings. Update your email or password in your account information and save the change.

If you are not sure which email you used: if you see an account-not-found error, double-check the spelling; search your inbox for the welcome email from PDFocused that was sent when you signed up; and if you registered with Google, use Continue with Google.

On the sign-in page, click Forgot Password, enter your email address, and follow the reset instructions sent to your inbox. If you do not see the email, check your spam or junk folder. If you are already signed in, you can also change your password from your dashboard under Account → Settings.

That means you already have an account. Use that email to sign in, and if you cannot remember your password, click Forgot Password next to the password field to reset it.

To delete your account, contact our support team by email at [email protected] or by phone at +1 877 369 2048, and we will take care of it for you.

You can keep as many documents as you like in your dashboard. Each uploaded file has a maximum size limit of 100 MB.

Yes. Because PDFocused is fully online, you can sign in on any device - just log in and pick up right where you left off.

PDFocused is a subscription service. Your plan gives you access to our tools, and you can cancel at any time from your account.

Sign in, then go to your dashboard and open Account → Settings → Plan & Usage → Cancel Subscription. A confirmation email will be sent to you once it is done.

You can review and change your plan from your dashboard under Account → Settings → Plan & Usage. If you need help choosing or switching plans, contact our support team.

Sign in and go to your dashboard under Account → Settings → Billing Details - all your invoices are listed there.

Updating your saved payment method isn't available from your account at the moment. Your subscription will keep renewing automatically using the card already on file.

Yes. Your files are transferred over an encrypted connection, processed securely, and automatically deleted from our servers a short time after you are done. We do not sell your data, and payments are handled by a trusted, PCI-compliant provider.

Yes. Payments are processed by a trusted, PCI-DSS-compliant payment provider that specializes in secure transactions. PDFocused never sees or stores your full card details.

Uploaded files are stored securely only for as long as needed to process your request, then automatically deleted. When you download a file, a temporary link is generated that expires after a short time to keep your data private.

If a file seems stuck, try refreshing the page, clearing your browser cache, or logging out and back in. If it still does not complete, contact support and we will help.

If the file does not download automatically, click the Download button again. You can also find your file in the documents area of your dashboard.

If you open a password-protected file, you will be asked to unlock it; without the password you will not be able to access or edit it. To convert, merge, or compress the file, remove the password before uploading. We respect the security settings applied by a document's creator.

Most languages convert well, but some can be tricky. Right-to-left scripts such as Arabic and Hebrew may misalign in complex layouts; ligature-heavy and complex Asian scripts such as Tamil, Bengali, Hindi, and Thai can lose some formatting; and rarer scripts may have limited support. For these, review the output to make sure it looks right.

OCR (Optical Character Recognition) turns scanned images into editable text by enhancing the image, matching character shapes to known fonts, and running language checks. Accuracy can drop with low-resolution scans, unusual or handwritten fonts, tilted text, or complex layouts that mix tables and images.

Files in your PDFocused account are private to you, so they cannot be shared directly through the platform. You can download the file and send it by email or any method you prefer. To add fillable areas, use the text and field tools in our PDF editor.
